We need your help this holiday season to find the families of trafficked and displaced children and bring them home.
While Nepal is recovering at a snail’s pace from the devastation of the massive earthquake of last year and the long blockade of essential supplies, our reintegration team is working tirelessly to find the families of rescued children in remote corners of Nepal. This holiday season, please help NGN to rescue more trafficked children whose well being is at risk and bring them home to their families.
Sumnima was very young when she was taken away from her family. Before NGN rescued her from an illegal and derelict children’s home in Kathmandu, Sumnima never thought she would see her family again. NGN teams have finally found her family and have told them that Sumnima is safe with NGN and she would be seeing them soon.
During her time in the safety of the NGN transit home her health is improving with more then enough to eat and three nutritious meals a day. NGN also focuses on the schooling that these children have missed while they were being kept in the children’s home and provides tutors who come daily to help them catch up on all the education they have missed.
During this time of need, we need your support to rescue, care for and reunify vulnerable children with their families. Your contribution will help us deliver the gift of happiness to young trafficked and displaced kids like Sumnima and their families. It doesn’t take much to care for a child like Sumnima. To provide Sumnima with all the post-rescue costs of medical care, trauma counseling, three nutritious meals a day, tutors and clothing is only $40 a month. This is a gift that will change a child’s life.
It costs the following amounts to take care of kids like Sumnima and bring them back home:
