According to the Ministry of Health and Population, 270,987 infected people have recovered from the disease so far, 60 of them in the past 24 hours.
Kathmandu Valley recorded 31 new infections in the past 24 hours. Of them, 24 cases were confirmed in Kathmandu, six in Lalitpur and one in Bhaktapur.
In the past 24 hours, 33 new infections were recorded in Bagmati Province, 13 in Gandaki, six in Lumbini, five in Province 1, and two in Sudurpaschim.
As of Tuesday, 2,199,950 PCR tests have been carried out across the country.
A total of 2,715 PCR tests were performed in the past 24 hours, according to the data released by the ministry.
Nepal had reported one Covid-19 related death and 89 infections on Monday. Similarly, 66 infections were recorded in the country on Sunday and 47 on Saturday.
