18 young girls rescued !!
NGN has assisted the Nepali police and the Government of Nepal in the rescue of 18 girls between the ages of 6 and 18 who had been working illegally in the craft industry. They were not attending school and were being used as child labor.
Our team is now working to contact their families in rural Nepal and get them returned to their homes. They have all received medical exams and are staying in our transit home while they wait to go back to their families. Once home they can get back to school and a normal life!
