NGN does everything that it can to reunify trafficked and displaced children with their families, but sometimes that just isn’t an option, and we must find the best alternative solution for a particular child. Ideally, this is one that helps them maintain a connection with their communities and any family they may have. Sudhir is one of those children.

NGN Reintegration Officers Continue Their Challenging Field Missions All Over Nepal

NGN's reintegration team faces many physical challenges when they are in search for a child's family. They maybe in the field for a few days, a week or more, often walking on steep trails in the highest mountains of the world to reach a village where they hope to find the family.

As 2017 gets underway, the NGN Community Anti-trafficking (CAT) project team continues to travel to remote, earthquake-affected villages in the district of Sindhupalchowk to inform local communities about the dangers of children being trafficked into illegal institutions.
